Most moving companies show you a stock photo and send you strangers. Our customers name their movers in public reviews, so here they are, by name, with the faces that ring your doorbell. The crew on this page is the crew on your truck.

Meet The Team

Patrick

Owner/Driver/Mover

Portland-raised, ten-plus years in the trade before founding the company in 2020. Patrick runs the walk-throughs, prices the big jobs, and still works trucks. If you've booked a large move with us, you've met him.

Ziggy

Mover

Ziggy has been with us close to four years, longer than anyone else on the crew. He's the one who knows how a house should load before the first pad comes off the truck, and four years of move days is why the hard ones get handed to him.

Logan

Driver/Mover

Two years in, Logan has gone from newest guy to the one already at the truck before anyone else. He drives, he loads, and he's learning the family trade from the ground up — one stairwell at a time.

Aiden

Mover

Second generation, on the trucks and in the reviews. Aiden grew up around pads and dollies; the standard is in the blood.

Sean

Driver/Mover

Plenty of time on the trucks, the one who trains every new hire on wrapping furniture the right way. Sean sets the pace on move day and makes sure nothing clips a doorframe on the way out.

Amy and PJ

office manager & future mover

Amy manages the office and answers the phone while PJ 'supervises' until he can join his brother in moving.

The Movers Our Customers Name in Reviews

Group of six people standing in front of two yellow moving trucks on a residential street with trees and houses in the background.

Our reviews read like a roll call; customers thank their movers by first name because the crew introduces themselves at the door and walks the whole job before lifting anything. Crew cards below; every mover gets a face and a name here.

What Every Butterfield Crew Does, Every Job

• Calls when they're en route: you're never waiting on a window

• Walks the job with you on arrival, before the first pad comes off the truck

• Floor runners down first, banisters wrapped, doorjambs guarded

• Introduces themselves: first names, the ones you'll see in our reviews

• Leaves a handwritten thank-you note when the job's done
