Three Keizer Curbs That Decide Where the Truck Stops
Curb 1: River Road N frontage
River Road N is a corridor with businesses and apartment buildings along it, and it meets Chemawa Road at Keizer Corner. A loaded truck idling in a River Road travel lane is not a workable plan, so for a storefront, office, or apartment facing the road, we look for another spot: the business lot, a side street, or a driveway off a cross street. Tell us whether your lot is shared with neighboring tenants and what hours it fills up, and we can time the loading to it.
Curb 2: A building inside Keizer Station
Keizer Station is an adopted plan area of about 225 acres, set out in four sections along Chemawa Road and Lockhaven Drive near I-5. Its adopted plan mixes retail, office, and commerce areas with housing, including Keizer Station Apartments on McLeod Lane NE. Where one street address covers several buildings, the right truck spot depends on which building you are in and which door is nearest your unit. Send both, and we can place the truck close to that entrance.
Curb 3: A home inside McNary Estates
McNary Estates is a private community of more than 600 custom homes and townhomes built around McNary Golf Club, just off River Road. A townhome and a large custom house there can call for very different truck positions. For a townhome, we ask whether the truck can use the driveway or should wait at the curb out front. For a bigger house, Patrick can walk the property first and choose the spot in person.

The KeizerFEST parade on River Road N
On parade Saturday in May, the KeizerFEST parade closes River Road between Plymouth Drive and Lockhaven Drive. The closure lasts a few hours, and we check that year's times. If either address is on or just off that stretch, we can pick another day or schedule the loading around it.
Miracle of Lights in the Gubser neighborhood
Each December, homes in the Gubser neighborhood light up for the Keizer Miracle of Lights, which runs from 6 to 10 PM nightly through late December and draws drive-through traffic. For a December move in that area, we can set a daytime schedule so the truck is gone before the evening crowd arrives.
Road work in northeast Keizer
Verda Lane NE between Dearborn and Ascot was scheduled for reconstruction with lane closures, adding sidewalks and bike lanes, so we will check whether work is still underway on your date.
Keizer Rapids Park on the Willamette
Keizer Rapids Park covers 148 acres along the Willamette River at 1900 Chemawa Road N, with a boat ramp and an amphitheater that seats 400. For a West Keizer home near the park, let us know if your date falls on an amphitheater event, and we can plan an earlier start around it.
I-5 along the east edge
I-5 runs along Keizer's northeastern border, with access at Exit 260A on Chemawa Road NE, next to Keizer Station. We can confirm the turn-in for your building when we set the date.

A West Keizer house off Chemawa Road N to a home in Greater Gubser
At the West Keizer house, the truck fits in the driveway once the family cars are parked elsewhere. At the Gubser end, we ask how much curb space there is in front of the new home. With only a few minutes of road between the two, carrying takes up nearly all of the clock.
A River Road N apartment to a house off Verda Lane NE
The truck loads from the side lot we agreed on for the apartment building. Because of road work in that part of town, we check which approach is open on the date.
A small River Road N office choosing between a Saturday and a weekday evening
Both options keep the office open during weekday business hours. Saturday is billed at the daytime rate with a 5-hour minimum, and an evening start after 5 PM uses the higher evening rate with the same minimum. Saturday costs less for the same hours, so the evening option makes sense when Saturday is not available.

The daytime card covers 8 AM to 5 PM, and our trucks start the day with the drive down. For a full house, we can schedule the earliest workable start so more of the carrying happens before 5 PM.

A shop on River Road N can move before its doors open or after they close. Display cases and fixtures get padded where they stand, shelving comes down in labeled sections, and stock is boxed by display, so the new space can be set up in the same order.

When the closest place to park is some distance from an apartment door, the crew works in loaded batches rather than single pieces. Mattresses and sofas travel in covers, and hand trucks carry stacked boxes so fewer trips cross the parking area.
West Keizer homes out Chemawa Road N
On the river side of Keizer, out toward Keizer Rapids Park, Patrick asks on the call whether the truck can back into the driveway or should load from the street, and roughly how many steps separate the front door from that point. A longer walk can mean one more mover on the crew, so the carrying pace holds through the afternoon, and big pieces like a sectional or a dining table can come apart inside to make each trip lighter.
Released Value, Replacement Cost and Claims
Released value at $0.60 per pound is the legal floor, not a plan. Applied to a 20-pound lamp, that works out to $12. Replacement-cost protection is available if you choose to purchase it. We will submit a claim upon request.

What does it cost to move within Keizer?
On a weekday, two movers with a truck cost $170.75 an hour, with a 2-hour minimum. A three- or four-person crew costs more per hour and can finish a large home sooner.
Can a crew get to Keizer today?
No. Keizer sits outside the area where we offer same-day work, so the soonest opening is the next day. Patrick can tell you on the call whether tomorrow is open.
How much notice do you need for a Keizer date?
One to two weeks of notice covers most local moves. Larger homes and summer moves call for more notice than that.
Do you have storage for the gap between homes?
No. We do not offer storage, so a gap between closings means booking space with a storage company. If the closing date shifts instead, we change our date at no cost, given a week or two of warning.
We live north of Keizer around Clear Lake. Is that covered?
Yes, and the rates are the same as inside the city.
Our new place is in Salem. Does that count as local?

Our address is on Chemawa Road. Does the N or NE matter?
Yes. The road carries both: Keizer Rapids Park is at 1900 Chemawa Road N, and Keizer City Hall is at 930 Chemawa Road NE. Give us the suffix with the house number so the truck heads to the right end of the road.
Will you move a lift chair or other mobility equipment?
Yes. A lift chair, walker or similar equipment can ride on the truck with the furniture. List each one on the call so Patrick counts it in the crew size and hours.
We are packing our own boxes. Does that affect a damage claim?
It can. A claim on a carton you packed is harder to support, since there is no way to show how the contents were cushioned. If a few boxes hold glass or ceramics, you can book our packers for just those.
